Author’s summary: Has Sam lost her chance with Jack? After a disastrous trip to Minnesota, and months spent separated by a continent, it might take their shared love for a troubled girl to bring them back together.
Recommended because: This fic stayed with me. Additionally, it’s one of the few stories I’ve read that addresses Sam’s comment to Barrett about Cassie going through a hard time.

Sam wanted some Sam/Cam fics of length. This is the result of me digging through my bookmarks once my power came back (and after I remembered that she’d asked me).
Recovering the Satellites. Just…read this. Stop whatever you’re doing and read this story. Already read it? READ IT AGAIN. This is Sam/Cam perfection and I can’t possibly ever hope to write them this well.
Finished “Recovering the Satellites”? Cool. Wasn’t it the greatest thing in the history of great things? (there’s only one correct answer to this) Read the rest of that ‘verse.
By the same author…The Christmas Series. These are PG-13 to NC-17 depending on which one you read. And you better believe that they’d kill each other if they ever tried to date.
Fallout. I have this bookmarked as “Cam almost dies and there’s good sex at the end,” so there you go. This one’s nicely plotty and shippy, which are two of the best things you can ask for in a fic.
The Happiest Place. I haven’t actually read this one yet (it’s on my list as soon as I have some time to devote to it; the first few bits of it that I did read were fantastic), but a lot of other people flipped their shit about it when it came out last year. Sam, Cam, apocalypse, Disney World. Etc.
Also in the category of Stuff I Have Not Read, But Keep Meaning To: The Times That Weren’t and its sequel, The Ninth Chevron. I actually can’t tell you a damn thing about this ‘verse other than that it’s gigantic, so should last you a good long while, and plotty and AU-ish. It apparently struck my interest enough to warrant bookmarking it with “PLEASE READ THIS SOON (SAM/CAM PLOT GOODIES).”
If you’ve already read these, I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help. Sam/Cam is a woefully underrepresented ship in fic, especially lengthy fic.

Recommended because: This just breaks you in half and then punches you in the face…I loved it. It was beautifully written, their reactions were just super touching; a very well done story with wonderful characterizations.

Recommended because: It is crack. The good crack. The crack that makes you laugh your ass off in your apartment all alone and laugh so hard that your own cat freaks out and levitates out of her chair. Wait. The last half of that sentence might be just me.

Recommended because: I found this story when it was 18 chapters in. It’s the only story that I’ve had to stop reading half-way through because it is so deep, so involved, so emotionally draining and so heartwrenching that I couldn’t read it in one sitting. It has a bit of everything, shows the characters as we’ve never seen them, but manages to remain so honest that my heart actually hurt while reading.

Author’s summary: Jack O’Neill is a man waiting to die, and she’s the only one brave enough not to look away. Set during Stargate: The Movie.
Recommended because: It’s the most realistic, true-to-character story about Sam and Jack set 1994 movie era I’ve ever found. It’s honest and fits these two perfectly.
