Recommended because:  It is the epitome of Sam/Teal’c friendship.  Gingasaur takes you on a rollercoaster (one of those upside down and twisty ones that makes you walk into walls once you’re back on solid ground) of emotions from funny team snark to gutwrenching angst to heartwarming friendship to wanting to stand on a chair and shout in glory to the most smile-inducing fabulous ending you could possibly imagine.  Basically, stop what you’re doing and read this now.

Recommended because: So few fics deal with Sam and Pete and Sam and Jack in a way that actually respects everyone involved. This is a great examination of Sam at this point in the series.

Recommended because:  This is the best Sam/Cam story I have ever read.  It is so much more than a five things fic.  It is friendship, it is angst, it is UST, it is glorious and heartbreaking and amazing and you really should just read it.  Right now.  There are also a few stories within the same universe, but you should read Recovering the Satellites first.

Author’s summary: (notes):This story is set between Moebius 1 and Moebius 2 in Ancient Egypt. Moebius gave us little information about what happened to SG-1 after they were stranded 5000 years in the past, so I decided those missing years were an opportunity.
Recommended because: It’s an incredibly gripping, and well-written story. Not so much a team fic as it is a great Sam/Teal’c friendship one. Sam and Teal’c are captured in the failed rebellion and forced to fight (gladiator style), while helping each other to survive.

Recommended because: I always loved the banter and awkwardness between Sam and McKay and The Road Not Taken made me ponder what they would have been like together.

Recommended because: This is a beautifully written trip throughout scenes we didn’t see in season 7 that has Sam and Daniel falling easily from friends to lovers when they both want something they can’t have. Sorrel puts into words what I always thought Sam and Daniel would be like together. There is also a beautiful Christmas sequel called Winter
